Speaking of long days. The most challenging aspect I have discovered while working on the South Georgia project, is the numerous hours spent in a day at my computer. For an outdoor girl, this is one heck of a challenge, even more so when the sun is streaming through the window, the brilliant natural light urging me to come outside and play. But alas, I must continue plodding on, writing proposals for grants, seeking gear sponsors and attracting hopeful media contacts. Coming soon: Epic Adventure or Saving the Albatross? Which would you rather hear more about when being approached and pitched to by a Crazy Kiwi woman who is seeking funds to assist in making this expedition and dream a reality?
