Vancouver Island Paddlefest - Ladysmith, May 9 - 10
The Paddlefest was blessed by glorious blue skies and sunshine along with a friendly, adventurous bunch of keen kayakers and outdoor enthusiasts. Hayley's presentations were well attended. Paddle fest Congratulations to Connie who was the lucky winner of the 'Kayaking to Save the Albatross Raffle' which took place at Hayley's booth last weekend in Ladysmith. The image Connie won is below and was taken by Hayley in the Queen Charlotte Strait. A local Northern Resident Killer Whale was rather curious therefore peeled away from its family to come and take a closer look.
